Think its a number of things combining

Less tinkering, more continuity in team and squad selection, couple of new faces have freshened it up a bit, transfer window closed so players now know they are not leaving and have knuckled down a bit, Ruddy and Klose finding a bit of form and the latter making a few saves

I also wonder if the manager, realising he was in last chance saloon has started listening a bit more to others in the set up, including the senior players. He's made a couple of recent comments in the last week which have bee a bit more humble.
