lies, damned lies, and statistics
Looking back at the last 10 years of the championship ( yes I'm bored this morning ) and at the corresponding weekend in Feb and the top 6 teams in the championship table at the time and then looking at the final championship table for that season , unsurprisingly not much changes the die is cast
but its not without hope in the 10 seasons 5 of the top 6 teams in the first week of Feb end the season in the top 6 on 6 occasions
In 2 seasons only 4 of the top 6 teams still remained in the top 6 in the final table
And one occasion 2006/07 only 3 of the teams remained in the top 6 at the end of the season
And last season the top 6 in first week of feb was the top 6 at the end
so the figures say the top 6 will probably be the top 6 in May except for one team
Off course it could be all bollocks
