I don't think nations like Poland would be happy about dismantling Nato in this climate
not at least without a credible replacement structure, which is a long way from happening, regardless of how anachronistic it is.
Even if intervention in the Ukraine was justified in Russia's view, there's no doubt that it's looking to expand its influence and there has to be some opposition to that rather than a US willing to stand around and watch and a toothless Nato
