Not really sure why Trump reaching out to Putin is a bad thing
seems better to develop a cordial relationship rather than continue to fight proxy wars in the middle east, killing millions and Ukraine, killing hundreds of thousands in the process. And to taunt each other, while wasting billions on military exercises - deliberately trying to destabilise independent countries.
Unfortunately, I doubt this best buddy act will last for too long though. But an allied Russia and US can only be good for world security imo.
