I love the fact our scouting network basically consists of a current version of
Football Manager with the "only show interested players" unticked and we end up surprised when lads at Ajax, Inter, Sampdoria, Lazio, Marseilles, PSV, Juventus and Sporting are not especially arsed about signing for us.
Me? I'd have been all over Bree, Hourihane and Bradshaw from Barnsley, the Rico leftback lad from Wallsall last year, that 6'7" centrehalf who bagged a brace against us from Reading, and that old goalpoacher Donaldson from Brum.
