But we are running at a 9 million loss and our wage bill (largely wasted)is up there with the highest in the division. Lots of older players are now not as good more injury prone and less motivated.

The age of the squad needs to come down and the motivation of the squad needs to be better.

Not sure people are proposing wholesale changes but as things stand today mulumbu, Whittaker, ruddy, bassong, lafferty, Bennett are all out of contact at end of season. Would make sense to move some of those wages on now if we can and get some young talented lads in to improve for half a season to get ready for next ?
