Only a brave man would smear himself in cat poo, I guess, but it's not necessarily what you actually want to smell like, at a guess.

Personally I do a bit of Mitchum 48hr under each arm after the shower and that's it - never bothered with aftershaves and I'm probably a bit too old to start bothering with them now, really
