Points gained with/without Wes . . .
After getting home after watching a turgid game yesterday against a poor Brentford and p*@ssing off mrs canary_wharf by spoiling her new year's eve, I couldn't help thinking that since we have been trying to find a successor to Wes, we do not seem to be able to string three passes together.
To battle for an away draw against such a poor side shows what little ambition we now have.
So I wondered what the number of points gained were with and without Wes in the starting lineup.
It appears that:
With Wes: W8, D3, L5 = 27 points from 16 games.
Points per game 1.6
Without Wes: W2, D1, L5 = 7 points from 8 games.
Points per game 0.8
Food for thought or meaningless stats?
