Moxey and Balls the real problem... thoughts??
Yes AN hasn't been getting the results on the pitch, but for me the problems lie in the Boadroom... he is not being shown the stability and guidiance from his CEO and Chairman. McNally and Bowkett were football people who worked as a team, with the manager n the best interests of NCFC and that bread success. They were leaders.
This weeks PR nightmare in the club stinks of Labour spin, poor leadership and a serious lack of man-management. Before Christmas I was firmly in the Neil out camp, however following recent events off the field, I believe that Delia needs to make the harder decision of making wholesale changes at Boardroom level. IMO they are not representing her, the club or the manager in their respective best interests.
Giving Ed Balls the position of Chairman was crass from the start. It stank of helping out a fellow Labour lovey after losing his Job, and because he supported Norwich it was the perfect fit! But it's been a disaster. The Chairman is the leader in the Boardroom and Balls has shown no leadership, in fact all he's done is use NCFC as a platform to keep his name in the limelight.
As for Moxey, talk to any Wolves fan and you won't find one who was sad to see the back of him. He ran that club into the ground. One journalist wrote in 2012, that the Wolves chief executive had rendered one of the Football League's founder members a laughing stock. Nothing in the past 6 months has shown any confidence that he's not going to do the same here.
Compatability and effective, resilient leadership sets the pace and energy level within any working environment. And in the case of a football club, it also empowers all those related to the club, owners, players, manager and fans. In Moxey and Balls we don't have that same drive and direction that was seen under the clubs previous stwerdship.
