Reading the below about how so few of our managers have gone on to work again..
It's like our Board (apart from under McNally) don't actually seem to value how important the manager is.
Hughton and Lambert apart, we don't actually ever seem to appoint proper, experienced managers. I can't think of any other club at our level who does this and which is why I don't think sacking AN will make a blind bit of difference long term.
I'm not saying we should just appoint a Mick McCarthy or Neil Warnock type but it seems bizarre those sorts of characters never even get considered.
