this has not actually happened quickly. We have been rubbish for a long time now although last season's relegation (complete with similar long, winless runs) appears to have been airbrushed from history in most quarters. You could argue that fans and press have been incredibly patient with him given how long he has been making schoolboy errors to our detriment.
I think also post McNally they are more prepared to say it!
