However, I don't think that today, by the sounds of things, was the performance of a team who have fallen out with their manager or who don't want to play for him. We lost narrowly to a team who have spent a lot of money and who are bang in form.

My point, simply, is that today doesn't really add to the sum of the discussion and it is pretty binary to suggest that it does (not you).
