It's been tailing off for some time

I blame a combination of:

1) lack of standing areas - for me that's the one biggest thing that would make a difference

2) ageing supporter base with too few younger lads choosing to spend their hard-earned watching live footy. It used to be an edgy, "young" thing to do but these days it's much more "entertainment"/showbizzy. People expect to be entertained, rather than turn up to be passionate about their team. Part of that is a societal shift, but part of it is about...

3) ticket prices, to some extent driving (2) but also meaning "casuals" only attend a few games each season.

We sell out now but as the older fans die off/move on will we still sell out fifteen years from now?

We could address this by:

1) putting safe standing areas in, say Lower Barclay blocks D and E and back half of the away block in the Jarrold (so those who choose to sit - which is their choice - aren't impeded by those of us who prefer to stand)

2) aggressively driving down prices for U18s in particular

3) loads of other things cleverer people than me will think of
