Look at the imbalance in terms of where his signings play as well

Off the top of my head:

GK: McGovern, Jones, Kean

Defence: Pinto, Klose, Wisdom (loan)

Midfield: Andreu, Pritchard, Dorrans, Mulumbu, Madison, Canos, Jarvis, Brady

Forwards: Oliveira, Naismith (at a push), Mbokani (loan)

I reckon over the last 2 seasons if you'd asked most fans which two areas need most strengthening they would say defence and strikers yet we have only made 4 permanent signings in these areas and even Pinto isn't really a very good defender (although he's decent going forward). yet we've signed 8 midfielders in the same period. Indeed you look at the above and it just all looks a bit powder puff really.

I'm sure I've missed a couple out so apologies in advance.
