After relegation

Saturday's shocking result has highlighted problems most of us already sensed.
To be perfectly honest, I'm very surprised we've done as well as we have so far. The psychology of relegation works against the team in various insidious ways, and is a massive challenge when the same manager stays in post. I will never forget watching us at Derby after relegation under Worthy, and seeing a team including Huckerby, Safri, Ashton, Green, Drury etc lose, playing utter s**te, and thinking who the hell is this team of doppelgängers?! It was pathetic, if not an embarrassing 5-0 score line.
I think we have to stick with AN for now. Must somehow sort out the defence (Delia, give a consultancy contract to your friend Alan Hansen, please) maybe bring back Ruddy. And hope that Jerome doesn't get injured. (Having said that, I think with a different set up Oliveira could be really good). Getting Pinto back is important, our R side doesn't function well without him.
No panic or hysteria, right? But Saturday is going to be massive now - payback time I hope.
