Second half disaster . . .

we sat back further ten yards than the first half and stood off, inviting them on. In the first half we played further up the pitch and pressed them when they were in possession.
Because we were so deep the midfield was congested and we gave the ball away cheaply.
Watching the highlights our defenders did not get close enough and watched CM as he positioned himself to shoot. I bet he wishes he could play against us every week.
Brady still looks off the pace, and he hasn't got going this season yet. Murphy didn't have a great game but at least he ran at the defence and made things happen.
Twice now we have given up a two goal leads and lost valuable points, and we still have not played at all convincingly all season. Even the second half against Blackburn was turgid.
Need to beat PNE Saturday to maintain the two points per game average target for promotion.
