and he'd brought a bottle of something local to quaff. My mother took a sip and pulled a face - visitor noticed and she said -'I'm so sorry but I'm just not a fan of German wine - it's not just this one'. And he replied 'it's ok - I'm not a fan of your English mint sauce'.
