Surely we would have been better to get them on an incentive based deal. Simplistic view but for example

£10k base
5 goals 10% increase + bonus
10 goals 10% increase + bonus
30 appearances in a season...

This is how big clubs operate. Look at Deli Ali signed 3 contracts in 12 months.

We run the risk of the agent speaking to everyone behind the scenes now.
