i've seen some epic desert deep trench latrinery

in featurless flat desert, unbroken 360 degree views to the entire horizon nothing there whatsoever apart from sand. no life at all, just 4 blokes. absolute silence is really amazing almost get giddy on hearing nothing at all. after one day, flies start to appear. after three days small birds appear to feed on the flies feeding on the s**t. we have created life in one of the planets harshest environments out of our own s**t. the fly novelty wore off rather quickly.
