...how relieved a lot people are that Klose has "chosen" to stay: any sign that he (apparently) really wants to is taken as a little (PR) miracle, whereas Naismith is not so broadly popular with the fans, meaning your assumption may well be correct.

Personally I think they've both played it well: Klose has hinted at his disappointment while broadly committing to the cause, while Naismith has "kept his head down" and maintained a fairly dignified silence, recognising perhaps that he needs his football to do the talking.

But then it's all just speculation at the end of the day.
