Light up top

As has been foreseeable since the day relegation was confirmed, we look light on strikers and definitely lack the variety/options we had upfront last time we were in the Championship. We were much less predictable last time around as a result. I suspect we'll be far easier to prepare for this time around. Maybe Wes, Pritchard etc are going to be good enough to break teams down anyway. Perhaps that's the plan. Maybe Lord Nelson is going to turn out to be very very good.

It may not be sensible or reasonable to compare ourselves to Newcastle as they have had huge income from selling their big names, but they have Gayle, Murphy, Perez and Mitrovic. Now that's a nice set of strikers at this level, all sorts of options there depending on tactics, circumstances, the opposition.

Last time we were here I genuinely thought we had the strongest striker set in the division. Hard to see that now.
