James wouldn't be the first though, Seaman was flapper extroadinaire for England but couldn't put a foot wrong for Arsenal, Martyn was shocking for England when the chance came his way, and Richard Wright had a shocker too

The England number 1 jersey is obviously the most pressurised position in the England team. Probably the reason it doesn't concern me much that Green sometimes doesn't play, cos one howler and the tabloids could have a field day about it
