He'll Never Play Green

Seems obvious that he -or someone- doesn't rate Greeno enough to give him a game and that he's making up numbers.

Kirkland is, and will remain, Erikssons No.3 goalie, and he would, no doubt, have got a game if he had been fit and available. The only reason he won't give Carson a run out is that it would embarass Green if he suddenly got in ahead of him as well for a debut.

No point in playing James. Been there, done that, nothing to prove. People likle Luke Young and Richardson (despite his debut goals) are never going to be more than a few cap wonders for England, yet they get their chance the first time they are called up. This is Greeno's fifth or sixth England squad, he's been there, turned up, done the work, never complained (all virtues that, it seems, get James the nod) and is ignored.

Greeno deserves better. Unfortunately, he'll now be thinking he isn't getting his chance because Norwich are in the CCC. Didn't stop James getting a game or two though. Can't respect Sven for this, its a real slap in the face for Greeno.
