Basically we kept trying through the middle, sometimes via the wings with an extra player, then retreating, playing the ball and then then back in between their lines because that is how you open up space against them. They showed examples of how we did it and examples of how russia failed to do it.
Interesting to see a view on Roy's tactics from a different footballing culture.
