However much you LISTEN to someone and acknowledge their concern if you don't DO what they want (which might be impossible) they will not think they have been listened to.
There is a lack of acceptance of consensus across the board these days, with many people genuinely believing they are being unfairly treated if they don't get everything they want all the time.
