I hope so. I think it will be a narrow remain vote and if that/this is enough of a wake up
call for the EU and enough to hasten some proper reform then that might just be the best outcome.
Hopefully our government will not just crow about the result (although Osborne will be a tw*t about it - am never voting for a tory government with him in a prominent role again) but actually realise that they (and the EU) came very close to losing this and that half the population (in fact probably well more than half as many voting in are only doing so due to perceived risks over the economy not because they want to be part of the EU) want some serious reform. The remain campaign has campaigned on the basis that Europe needs that reform so they must push for it.
Alternatively of course the EU might use it as a mandate to charge head on into further integration!
