Changing your voice in work when talking to wife or husband on the phone
Fellow in here. Lets call him Steve, because that's his name. All day he's very loud and braying. Ex forces. Can identify a jet going overhead from the noise alone, always on ebay looking at classic cars. You know the type. Loud. Know-all. Man's man.
But you get his f**king wife on the phone and its all hushed "Hello...Hi! Oh, ok darling...yes well..." proper simpering, creepy Battlecat into Cringer stuff.
Anyone else suffer this phenomenon in their workplace?
Anyone willing to confess to being a Voicechanger?
Will this subspecies die out with the prevalence of the text based communication?
