That the working class favour Brexit not because they think it will improve their lives but because they want to give the 'establishment' a kicking because their lives have become much less secure in recent decades.
While this is perfectly understandable (their lot has got worse) they have picked the wrong target. One of the main things pro-Brexit Tories hate about the EU is the workers' rights it guarantees, so a Brexit would almost certainly result in an even worse lot for workers (a key reason the Leave campaign has focused so heavily on the immigration issue is that they need to get workers to vote for them to win, even though they plan on kicking those same workers in the teeth)
