Just catching up on the news that NCFC have hired a headhunter for the CEO role
Great move IMHO.
I am also a headhunter (in the tech space) and Spencer Stuart are the best (and most expensive) firm in the industry.
I would estimate the fee for the search would be somewhere in the 150-250k range, which makes the story about NCFC being skint seem even more ridiculous than we all thought.
While the fee may seem a lot, the appointment of the new CEO could be worth multi millions to the club, so I am glad the Board have decided to invest in finding a great person.
