Probably because they're not interested.

Why does there have to have been a scandal? I'm not saying there wasn't, it's just people resign from jobs all the time. That doesn't mean there needs to be a media-led inquest. FFS, if there's one group of people I don't want pretending they know best about the club, it's "the media".
