A lot of manager's turn poor performances around upon being appointed - even Di Canio managed it despite being a lunatic.

The bigger test is once they've bedded in and in this case, I just don't see where Neil has progressed. In fact the second half of the season has been one of the worst spells I can recall by any Premier League side.
