Why so much love for AN?

I don't want him here, he seems so undecided on our best team, he's had over a year to work with it and we are going down. Yes we had a fantastic year last year, but I think we under achieved the first part of it anyway. AN might be inexperienced but why should we settle for that when it's taken us down? We've not played any better football than under Chris H, yet most want AN to stay because of what? Potential? Loyalty?
