disagree a bit

our company used to do some charidee work with an orphanage/womans refuge in kosovo. Small beer stuff help out with donating some old tech stuff, paid for the kids daily lunches and that yada yada. We went down one week to visit and the principal said we should go with them all on a field trip over the weekend, where are you going i asked, oh we are off to Adem Jashari's house to see the home of the martyrs. i politely declined, I know the due is a national hero but no need to be teaching young kids that kind of s**t.

the Kosovan government for all it's hideous faults did vote to knock down the bullet/missile riddled carapaces in Pristina from the recent war, ditto Sarajevo in Bosnia the place is pretty much unrecognisable now. it's sometimes healthy to move on and scrub the s**t out, life goes on. Sometimes in this country we are far too mawkish.
