VR Headsets

My mate just bought a samsung galaxy s7 with free VR headset ,tried telling him it cost the price of his phone.Any way we've spent all afternoon with this giant strap on fastened to my forehead (sounds familiar ).wow i was pleasantly surprised how good the 3D clips were ,after buying a fancy 3D tv several years ago to only find there was nothing much to watch i was totally immersed in this headset and can see my mate loosing half his life in this gadget.
My question is i noticed on amazon theres several android headsets for ?25 i was wondering if there worth a punt any of you chaps stuck in 3D world ,can i drive to carrow rd in one
