we got rid of Grabban and Hooper because neither are good enough

and, as you said, we got decent money. The fact that neither have been replaced well, doesn't mean it was the wrong decision to sell them; we obviously thought we could get upgrades. Unfortunately we signed Naismith and Bamford instead.
