My problem is that, in the season we got relegated from the premier league

A season that can only be categorised as an abject failure in terms of performance on the pitch, the transfer business we did (including RVW) and the decision making of the board around Hughton's departure and appointing Adams with 5 games remaining, i think its is wrong that our "best paid director" received a ?367,500 bonus for "achieving financial targets" during the year.

You may disagree with that, and ultimately its Delia's club and she can pay her employees what she likes but i just think its rather obscene. I have no problem with the bonus that same director got the previous season for keeping us up, nor the bonus last season for getting promoted. that said in this day and age the term "bonus" seems to me (and not just in football but in many industries) to have become code for some form of almost guaranteed extra payment rather than a true performance related bonus.
