That's missing the point for me

The huge money will not affect relative positions within the league. It will have the devastating effect of widening the gap between the lower Premier and upper Championship. Even the increased parachute money will be a pittance compared to what the teams surviving at the bottom of the Premier will get. Horrible season to get relegated if it happens.
