I use one of three options...

1. If it is a s**tish car eBay
2.Or Autotrader but have to argue with all the dodgy w**kers that phone claiming to have someone who wants to buy the car, but time wasters aside, they usually sell in the end
3. Part exchange for something nicer and take the hit on their economical valuing of its worth
