Your point about Howson is total bollocks.
Martin was ok, no better, no worse than any other right-back we've had this season - and if you're criticising right-backs for getting a 25-yarder narrowly off target, like his early chance, then it just sounds like you're jumping on anything in order to justify your criticism.
And, honestly, that team was far more balanced than we've seen. Naismith isn't a striker. He played on the left plenty of times for Everton, including when he scored his hat-trick v Chelsea. Agree about Brady, as I said, but we're all mini-managers, aren't we.
