As a kid I looked forward to jack valentine more than christmas
Couldn't wait for the knock on the door and run to see what was left outside for me or my brother and sister. It seemed if it would go on for hours. We never knew who was that jack leaving goodies! Later found out it was my older cousin who'd been given the job of jack. The goodies were nothing expensive, sweets, comics, orange. One night we heard the "knock", rushed and opened the door and some bastard had thrown a couple of eggs at it! Happy Berstrete days!
My grandkids still have it. Enjoy!
