Well he wouldn;t have stopped the first minute goal but by the same token

Neil spoke on Thursday or Friday about how important it was to keep hold of the ball and pass well when you play a side like Spurs and then picked a side with no decent passers in midfield. I think what we really miss when he doesn't play is the fact he shows for the ball and is happy/prepared to receive it in tight situations which tends to make the other players around him play better.

I thought the Wes/Mbok/Naismith combo was the real bright point from the Liverpool game so really don;t understand why he broke that up to bring Jarvis back in. i can only assume its because he wanted us to sit deep so thought he needed extra pace on the break but all that happened was we sat deep and then Mbok and Naismith were completely isolated. Don't really get the fuss over Jarvis. very hit and miss .
