That's pretty poor of your household Insurer. I'd check your policy
on some policies there's an automatic extension for items in storage & if you speak to some kid in a call centre they may not necessarily be aware of it - particularly if they have to service calls to loads of different products.
But like Tombs, I'd probably just take the risk. You'd think theft shouldn't be an issue, so fire possibly (they're s**t constructions which could be destroyed in minutes if a fire were to occur, but they're all pretty new builds with new electrics & hard to envisage a fire starting) - only thing I would check is that the site isn't in a flood risk area - check on environment agency website maybe.
