A while since I've watched that! Goosebumps. But I'm afraid he just

doesn't get that time or space in the PL. Plus he's now a known quantity - opposition teams quickly work out our weaknesses, & things tend to get rather harder as the season progresses.

My feelings about him are similar to those about Ruddy; for whatever reason, something's gone wrong, & a move on is probably best for all concerned.
