Redmond
Not sure why he's not firing at the moment, but I think confidence has a lot to do with it. Also the quality of what's around. Since we've gone more defensive, he's easier to pick up as we have fewer bodies up field to burden the opposition, and he has fewer options to pass to when he does get it. His dip in form has coincided with our switch to a much more defensive approach. He isn't the kind of player who beats 2/3 all by himself. But he can link up attacks very well when he has options around him.
And lets not forget what he can do, when it clicks.

And yes, this was against a Championship team, and its tougher in the prem. But this was against a GOOD champs team who were strong defensively.
I suspect he is one of these players who gets better (much better) the better the team he is in. He is going to be a prem player for years to come, and it might just be he needs to move somewhere to unlock his potential. But if he does move on, I reckon we'll miss him hugely.

- We all know what he can do, he isn't doing it any more. He wants to move on IMO (n/m) (NCFC) - Higher Wrather, Jan 17, 21:45:23
