So if the rumours are to be believed...

2m for Jerome up front, 1.5m in possible add-ons, 1m for Halford and 400,000 for Andy Gray.

So 2m + 1m + 400k = 3.4m. Jerome's add-ons taken out of next year's parachute payments.

For Ashton we get Jerome, Halford, Gray and a dent in next season's transfer budget.

Good move or not ? Personally I'd be happy if we could knock Cardiff down at about 1.5m now with 1m add-ons, 800,000 for Halford and don't go anywhere near Gray.
