It does happen to Souness *everyw3here* though.

Mark Hughes publicly stated when he took over at Blackburn that the whole squad wasn't fit - no wonder he was getting so many injuries!

Then he fell out with Stephen Carr because he was trying to rush him back into the side - Carr saw what happened to Dyer and Emre and said no, and Souness had a fit.

Ian Rush talks about Souness' training methods in his autobiography, and suggests why he had so many players injured at Liverpool - he was getting them sprinting on the first day of pre-season training!

Owen's always been injury-prone but it's no coincidence that Souness always has these massive injury problems.
