I am mystified by the David Bowie love. is it generational thing?

Under pressure quite a good tune, but otherwise im baffled by the whole thing.
I tried listening to the last two albums he did but didn't like at all, never listened to him while growing up.
oh well.
will prob get slaughtered for that one!
