some companies do run their Financial year in line with the tax year

but alot dont and yes it involves a bit of extra work.

NCFC Accounts use to be to 30th June each year then the financial year end moved under Chase and then it got moved to the end of May each year. Dont ask me why they picked the end of May rather than the end of June. I have no understanding of that.
