I dunno. I think these things can happen over time.

If you get too comfortable in your role you can start to take your eye off the ball. How would you explain the drop in form? I don't think you could argue that Ruddy has had competition this season. If you asked any fan if Rudd should get a game, I think most would have rather we got in a more experienced keeper in January than give Rudd ago. It's only with hindsight that most have realised that Rudd is capable.
