a chairman is supposed to be
a leader, someone who knows how to manage a board and make sure the directors are properly briefed and can do their job effectively. He's supposed to influence and guide strategic thinking. in part, he's supposed to make sure McNally and the others are doing their jobs properly.
An intriguing appointment that says a lot about how NCFC sees itself and the level of its ambition I think.
